Ryar (Naizzu Azalea)

ʜɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ

Ryar was raised on the Beowulf Mainland, home of the Seekers. The Seekers are a branch of Vikings whose goal is to find truth in the legends of dragons that had been passed down from so-called 'Dragon Riders' of the past. At the age of eleven, she was put into training to fight and kill the dragons she would seek when she came of age. She and her brother were immensely different, as her brother aced training, while she ended up victim to bruises and scars.

Treated poorly amongst her peers for being weak, she strayed away from the activities that 'normal' Seekers-in-training would do, and spent less time preparing to fight a dragon, and more time learning how to survive a dragon confrontation. Which payed off, in later years.

ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

Ryar is snarky and cynical. Her defense mechanism when she's scared or hurt is to make humor out of her own situations, and she never admits her own fears to herself. She loves to argue and debate and prides herself in her ability to make nonsense sensible. She loves to theorize about the most random things, and make ultra complicated situations out of simplicity. She's creative and has a fiery spirit, and she's a little insecure about her lack of physical strength.

ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

Ryar stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall, with short white hair, dark skin, even darker freckles, and vibrant green eyes. She's been told that her eyes give off the very idea of hopefulness - that when one looks at her, they can see her hopes and dreams, they can see all the life she wishes to live.

As per Seeker tradition, Ryar wears a white strip of thin faux leather tied around her neck. This symbolizes her status and rank - low-ranking citizen that has yet to pass the Seeker Examination, her gender - female, and her age - older than fifteen but younger that eighteen.

She wears an indigo blouse with the Seeker crest embroidered on her sleeves in gold, and a mid-thigh length light grey leather skirt held up by brown leather suspenders with golden clasps - typical for a young female Seeker. She also wears long dark grey chausses with white stitching, and tall brown leather boots.
