Striped furies are a subspecies of the Night fury. They are quite uncommon to find. They are usually normal colors, such as white, brown, red, ginger, yellow, dark grey and consist of softer dark or light stripes. The inside of the wings and fins are spotted. They usually deal with earth Or fire. Sometimes and rarely do they have electricity. These furies hunt during the day. They eat fish, rabbits, sheep, and also eat certain plants. These furies are fierce and can be hostile if startled.
These furies sleep under sand or in bushes. They aren't big fans of caves but will sleep in them if needed.
The eggs are usually the design + colour of the scales they have as adults.
in the image is a ref of Nova, my striped fury. her eyes are different colors but that isn't rare but uncommon in these subspecies. They're able to withstand storms, their scales hardening In the process for stronger and better protection. Unlike toothless, they cannot hide their teeth(idk what that's called XD). Females are smaller than the males and the antennas/ears are larger for the males. They do not stick in groups and usually roam around alone.
They are a striker class, fast but not super fast, strong as an average nightfury, not so good tree climbers but are good rock climbers, very well at camouflage, and bad swimmers.
striped fury a prefer shallow waters to catch fish, because they cannot swim well. They are slightly aggressive and tend to crouch and move their wings up spread, the three spike on the back on their neck bristling and hiss. They are suckers for light dots and will chase them and chew on rocks or sticks to sharpen their teeth.
