I was wondering if you could tell me how to make people assistant admins. I'm in charge of a HTTYD-related fandom site and I would like to make some assistant admins. If you could explain that I would be grateful. Thanks!
First of all, my apologies for the late response :)
By saying "assistant admin" you mean just an admin, without bureaucrat rights? Btw, do you know you don't have to give admin rights, you can also give content moderator rights? They are pretty similar, but content mods can't block other users and edit MediaWki pages.
If you want to give selected user additional rights, go to this user's personal page, then click "Contributions". Next you'll see some options, such as "logs", "uploads" etc. Click on "user rights management". Then select user group you want this user to be added to, and then click "save user groups". Done!
