The Twilight Wraith is a large-sized Mystery Class dragon

Description[]

Physical Appearance[]

Egg[]

The Twilight Wraiths egg is oval-shaped with a smooth surface and are often times mistaken for a large, polished stone or jewel. They come in various colors that matches the hatchling inside and are typically one solid color though different hues and shades are possible. It is also possible for the egg to be two different colors though it isn’t common. The most noticeable trait is that Twilight Wraith eggs are tough to damage.

Hatchling to Adult[]

Twilight Wraiths are one of the few dragon species that have evident sexual dimorphism though this is most evident when fully grown. A Twilight Wraith's color matches that of their eggs; the males, also referred to as bulls, have dark, sometimes dull colors while the females, also known as dams, are brighter with scales that reflect light. This gives them the appearance of being covered in jewels. Males are generally stockier and more muscular in build compared to their leaner and more aerodynamic female counterparts. Males also have straight horns with spikes on each cheek and a line of spikes on their heads, backs and tails. Females lack the cheek and body spikes with their horns being more curved.

Titan Wing[]

Titan Wing Twilight Wraiths don’t differ much in comparison to regular members of their species aside from a few changes.

Abilities[]

Firepower[]

Twilight Wraiths are cable of shooting either an intense, continuous stream of flames or short bursts similar to fireballs. Age is a large factor in determining the size and intensity of the flames as well as the duration of how long a Twilight Wraith can sustain it. Hatchlings and younglings flames are weaker than that of their older counterparts while only being able to be sustained for several seconds. Adults are capable of covering a larger area and continuously breathing fire for up to two minutes with the intensity of the heat strong enough to burn objects to ash within seconds, crack stone, and melt steel with ease.

Strength and Combat[]

Endurance and Stamina[]

Speed and Agility[]

Senses[]

Dense Scales[]

A Twilight Wraiths body is covered in flexible yet durable scales that are packed together, being compared to armor. This protects them from a large portion of attacks with standard arrows and spears simply bouncing off while the claws of other dragon species simply slide off.

Intelligence[]

Camouflage and Stealth[]

Due to their coloration, Twilight Wraiths are capable of blending in with their environments though it differs between sexes. For males, their dark coloration allows them to blend in with dark environments such as cloudy or stormy days. This is especially true when flying against the night sky or in a dark cave as their scales causes them to blend in almost perfectly.

High Body Temperature[]

Twilight Wraiths have a high body temperatures that allows them to endure cold environments of the mountains and caves they habitually live in without much reaction.

Weaponry[]

Eel Consumption[]

One of the few dragons that are immune to the effects of eel pox, Twilight Wraiths will actively consume most varieties of eels.

Titan Wing Abilities[]

As a Titan Wing, Twilight Wraiths possess a couple abilities with the most prominent of these being their powerful roar. Being capable of forcing other dragons into submission, it is particularly useful in confrontations with particularly rowdy dragons as it allows a Twilight Wraith to subjugate them. The range and power of their fire is increased as one was able to heat up the bars of a dragon-proof cage to the point that the metal glowed orange and was able to be destroyed with a swipe.

Weaknesses[]

Undersides and Wings[]

Though a Twilight Wraith’s scales protect them from a large portion of attacks, their underbelly isn't as well protected as the scales that line

their undersides are thinner which makes the area vulnerable to injury with a particularly hard blow being able to temporarily stun them. Their wing membranes are even easier to damage due to the thin membrane, being prone to puncture.

Behavior and Personality[]

A male exclusive species, Twilight Wraiths generally reclusive and territorial dragons who prefer to live solitary lives.

Training[]

While training a Twilight Wraith is possible, the process of doing so is quite difficult
