A little later, Caeser asked, "How DO you play?" "Well, depends what game. There's a few options; hunting, hide&seek, swimming, flying, wrestling, racing, I-Spy, cloudwatching," "You have no idea how boring that last one sounds to me," "Racing, then?" Andromeda suggested. "Why not," Caeser grumbled.

Next morning, Andromeda woke up. She padded up to the front of the cave. Only to be blocked by Chillifer. "Where are you heading off to meet your BOYFRIEND?" Andromeda laughed "That's none of your business where I'm going, little spy, and Caeser is NOT my boyfriend," "But he's your friend... and a boy. How...?" Andromeda laughed, her little brother never ceased to amuse. She walked on past him and his mumbling confusion.

In truth, she WAS going to see Caeser, but he wasn't her boyfriend. "Hey, Caeser!" she called into the trees. "Hello," he said, stalking down from a tree. "What do you want to do today?" Caeser furrowed his brow. "Um... Swimming?" "Okay,". They headed to the largest lake on the island.
  +

"Andromeda?" "Yeah?" "How do you swim?". Andromeda looked at him. He didn't know how to swim. "Well first you step into the water," she instructed, stepping into the shallow part of the lake. "It's pretty much easy then you just push off and kick," she said, doing as she had instructed. Caeser shuffled up to the edge. He slipped and landed in the water with a SPLASH! Andromeda laughed. "I-I didn't slip!" Caeser protested defiantly, blushing. Andromeda still laughed and Caeser smacked his tail on the water, splashing her in the face. She stopped laughing and turned. "Oh it is so on!" she said, blasting a wave at him with her wings. Caeser retaliated with flapping up a few feet and cannonballed into the water.

A few hours later, after their water fight, they were floating on their backs, wings spread out. "Y'know I didn't slip," Caeser said, "The ground wobbled and I fell in," "Uh-huh," Andromeda mumbled. "I'm telling the truth," Caeser replied calmly. The sun was setting. "Well should probably head home now," Andromeda said, flapping a few feet up into the air. "Mmm... Agreed," Caeser replied, rising to the air, "Want to see my house tomorrow?" "Sure," Andromeda replied, flying back home.

The following day, Andromeda flew up above the forest to find Caeser's home. Then she remembered she didn't know where he lived. "Hello," a voice came from behind her. "Gah!" she said, jumping (In the air???). "Oh, Caeser, it's you, I was just wondering where-" "My home is?" "Yes," "This way," he said, diving down, Andromeda following. They landed at a small cave. Ducking their heads, they headed inside. It was a big cave on the inside. "Woah," Andromeda gaped, the word echoing off the huge walls. "Yeah, but other than that it's a dump," Caeser said. He gestured to some gnawed-on bones, scraps of moss everywhere and some piles of shed scales. "Well it could be better," Andromeda admitted. "Eh, come on, there's something else," Caeser led Andromeda into a shadowy part of the cave.

It opened up into a large cavern, covered in crystals and water filling the bottom. "I call it 'The Hidden World of Drak^o'," Caeser said. Andromeda just gaped, it was humongous, and amazing. "It's like I'm actually at the home of the Alpha," she murmered. The ground rumbled, a stalictite fell from the ceiling and splashed in the water. "Okay, something is seriously happening on this island," "Couldn't agree more," Caeser said, "Let's head up," They flew up and out of Caeser's home. Turning to the beach, they saw something ginormous. Actually two something ginormous-es.

Character List

Andromeda. Light Fury, 17

Caeser. Night Fury, 18

Chillifer. Light Fury, 7

Chapter One: New Life

Andromeda had been looking for an island to live on for months and she finally found it on Drak^o Island. She lived there with few other people. Chillifer, Andromeda's adopted brother, a Light Fury who ate Flightmare algae so you could always see him 30 meters away. There was also Chillifer's friend Sync who was a Fiendish Fever-Fang but not at all cannibalistic. Finally there was CAESER. He was a Night Fury with purple eyes and a scar under his left one. Andromeda regularly tried to talk to him but he kind of just growled at her and slunk off.
Though Andromeda really liked living there.

(Shoot. This should have been the prologue!)

Chapter Two: Friends?

Andromeda woke up. She walked out of her cave and breathed in the fresh morning air. "HEY!!!!!!!!!" came a shrill voice. Chillifer dashed out of the bushes. "Who am I spying on today, chief?". Andromeda looked at him. "I thought that you only spied for yourself?". Chillifer replied with, "You're right." and proceeded to shriek louder than a frost giant with a splinter in his foot, dashing away to commit privacy invasion.

Despite the crude attack of her brother's screaming, Andromeda felt this would be a good day. She flew over to the beach of the island. 'Hey, what's that?'. She could see a couple of large somethings' hazy outline a few days away. 'Probably just a couple of Foreverwings migrating.' she concluded. She peered into the still, glassy water. a darting flash of silver caught her eye. She leapt into the water after it. And within a minute she had caught the fish. "Ice-Tailed pike? Don't see those here often," she mumbled through the mouthful of fish. She swallowed the fish whole and flew into the forest.

There she saw Caeser half-heartedly meandering through the trees. "Hey, Caeser!" she called. Caeser turned round "What?". 'Better than usual, he's meant to run away at this part,' she thought. "Why don't you ever play with or talk to anyone?" "Because I don't want to," "Is there a reason for that or are you just trying to avoid this conversation?". Caeser groaned "Fine. If you'll leave me alone after I will 'play' with you," Andromeda smiled, glad that she had finally convinced Caeser to not just hiss and chuck dirt round for no reason.

They marked themselves at the start line. "So the beach is the finish line," Andromeda said. "Right." Caeser replied. And they were off. "Look who finally arrived," Caeser said. Andromeda collapsed on the sand and panted. "Good race," she gasped. "Y'know that was actually king of fun," "Hopefully that wasn't just because you absolutely annhilated me," Andromeda laughed. Caeser chuckled too and helped her to her feet. Shaking herself clean of sand, she asked, "Friends?" "Friends," Caeser agreed.

Chapter Three: Tremors
